I just wrote an awesome post about Grandma Fern’s garden and freezing corn.  Then, in attempting to do a very simple piece of cut and paste editing I seem to have brilliantly deleted the whole thing, and I can’t seem to get it back.  I’m soooo sad.  But seeing as how it’s 1:40am, I’ll have to make another attempt tomorrow.     AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!

The other day Tim was getting Ethan ready for bed and Ethan wanted to sing "The wise man built his house upon the rock…"  No problem until they got to the 3rd verse where we build our houses on the Lord Jesus Christ…. and blessings come down as the prayers go up.  Of course, the other verses have rain coming down and floods coming up.   On the monitor I heard something indistinguishable, but not right.  Then Ethan, "No, Daddy.  Dat not wite.  Daddy mess up."  So they had to come down and get help for the 3rd verse.

Fast forward a day or two.  Ethan was sitting in the dining room while I was in the kitchen.  He started singing that song to himself.  When he got to the last verse he goofed in some way (I didn’t catch it).  But I did hear him giggle to himself and say, "Dat not wite.  I mess up (pause) Like Daddy did. (another giggle)"
